Medical Assistant

Lakeisha earned her medical assistant certificate from the CHI Institute, and has worked in radiation oncology at Temple Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center. She loves providing a welcoming ear to patients. “Sometimes patients just need someone to talk to who will listen and understand what they’re going through. It’s good for them to know that someone besides their family cares about how they feel. We become like their family.” When she’s not with her patients, Lakeisha enjoys reading and spending time with her son and daughter.
