Julie Mason, BS, RTT

Chief Radiation Therapist

Julie discovered radiography during a high school career day, and enrolled in Holy Family College’s radiography program. She fell in love with radiation therapy during a rotation, and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree in radiation therapy from Gwynedd-Mercy College. She is board-certified in radiography and radiation therapy. She has worked at Temple Hospital, but especially loves the state-of-the-art technology and focus on patients’ comfort at the Radiation Oncology Center. She has personal experience with cancer, and knows what it means to treat patients like you would want your family members treated. “Patients are scared and nervous, and need support. I want them to feel they have someone to talk to and that they’re getting the best possible treatment. It feels good when they come back years later to say hello.” Julie and her fiancé also share their lives with a cat named Lucky and a boxer named Tyson.
