
Director of Physics and Operations, HealthTronics
Ed oversees all operations at the Center, including equipment and technology, staffing, billing, policies and procedures, quality control and safety. He developed a proprietary medical error reduction program that’s in place at the Center. This program uses intense education, structured procedures and special software to find and correct potential problems and inefficiencies before problems occur. Before joining HealthTronics, he held senior-level administrative, clinical and quality management positions with RadPhysics Services, Universal Health Services, Oncology Therapies, Inc. and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission. He has a bachelor’s degree in health physics/biology from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and a master’s degree in radiological physics from the University of Miami. He is board-certified in nuclear medicine and radiography.
